Evaluation Criteria for Expanded Abstracts Competing for the Award
• Cohesion (20 points): Assesses the text’s ability to maintain a logical sequence of ideas, with proper connection between introduction, development, and conclusion. A cohesive text enhances understanding and demonstrates the author's mastery of textual organization.
• Innovation (20 points): Refers to the originality of the approach, creativity in topic selection, or the way the subject is addressed. Works presenting new perspectives, methods, or interpretations will receive higher scores.
• Textual Fluency (20 points): Relates to the smooth and pleasant reading of the text, without abrupt breaks in meaning. This evaluates the author’s ability to construct clear, cohesive, and well-structured sentences that ensure a natural flow of ideas.
• Relevance to the Theme (20 points): Measures how well the work aligns with the overall theme proposed by the event. Submissions that maintain focus and relevance to the discussions of the COLLAB SUMMIT will be more highly rated.
In addition to the evaluation of the expanded abstract, there will also be an on-site poster evaluation on the day of the event, with up to 20 additional points, based on clarity of presentation, visual organization, and the author’s communication skills.
